Carpenter Valley Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in California, about 4.6 miles from the town of Lakeview. The trail is an out-and-back, roughly 1.6 miles long, with a low point of about 6,251 feet and a high of about 6,270 feet. The climb is minimal, with an elevation gain of about 11 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Sagehen Creek weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 37°F, while winter highs sit in the upper 30s to low 40s. Dogs are not allowed on this trail. The Carpenter Valley Loop Trail and Landecker Lane both lie about 0.7 miles away. Climbers can head to Prosser Hill, about 1.9 miles off, and paddlers to Prosser Creek, about 4.4 miles away.
