Angora Lake Trail is a mountain biking route in California's Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, part of the national forest system. The trail is an out-and-back of about 0.9 miles, with a one-way climb of 506 feet from a low point of about 6,404 feet to a high of about 6,932 feet. It is a hard ride, and the climb is the most significant part of the route. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at South Lake Tahoe run to highs around 80°F in July and August, with only two or three wet days a month. That station sits about 618 feet lower than the high point of the trail, so temperatures up top run a little cooler. Tamarack Lake Trail and Clark Trail both lie about 0.4 miles away, and the West Shore climbing area is about 0.8 miles off. For an overnight stay, Fallen Leaf Campground is roughly 3.5 miles away.
