Reds Meadow Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Mammoth Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California, about 6.5 miles from the Mammoth Lakes weather station. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site has flush toilets. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Mammoth Lakes station show July highs around 78°F with lows near 49°F, while winter highs sit around 41°F with lows in the teens. The campground sits right beside two short hikes, Sotcher Lake to Red's Meadow and Red's Bathhouse Spur, both about 0.1 mile away. Minaret Falls Campground is 1.4 miles off, and the Middle Fork San Joaquin River offers canoeing about 1.6 miles away.
