Diablo is a Forest Service campground in the Yuba River Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California. The site is simple, with vault toilets as its only amenity, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Bowman Dam show July highs around 82°F and lows near 54°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and lows in the low 30s. Berger Creek Campground and the Berger campground both sit about 0.3 miles away. Packer Lake Picnic and Tamarack Lake are each roughly 0.9 miles off.
