Bridge Camp Campground, also known as Bridge Camp Cg-F, is a Forest Service campground in the Weaverville Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest, about 18 miles from Weaverville, California. It sits on the North Fork of Stuart Fork Creek, five miles west on County Road 112, and serves as a trailhead for one of the most popular routes into the Trinity Alps Wilderness. The campground has 10 units, with an average maximum trailer size of 20 feet. It is a tent and equestrian site, with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, one corral, an unsurfaced road and parking lot, and two hitching rails. The two campsites closest to the trailhead are walk-ins. The site is thickly wooded with Douglas fir and mixed deciduous trees, and the hotfoot Bridge Camp Siphon, which carried water from 1898 through 1914 to the LaGrange Hydraulic Mine, is located here. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Weaverville show May highs around 77°F and September highs around 88°F, while July and August average about 94°F.
