Bolsillo is a Forest Service campground in California's Sierra National Forest, within the High Sierra Ranger District. It sits about 12 miles from Huntington Lake, where the nearest weather station records typical averages of about 74°F highs and 49°F lows in July and August, the warmest and driest stretch of the year. No fees are required to use the site, and the only facility on site is a vault toilet. That makes it a simple base for a day in the surrounding trails rather than a place to stay for a longer trip. Corbett Lake and the Mono Hot Springs Trail both lie about 0.1 mile away, and the Mono Hot Springs mountain bike route is about 0.2 mile off. Portal Forebay campground is roughly 1.5 miles away for another overnight option.
