Boca Springs is a Forest Service campground in the Truckee Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest, about a mile east of Boca Reservoir and 20 minutes from Truckee, California. The site is managed by the Tahoe National Forest and is set up for visitors who want to mix boating, swimming, fishing and trail time in the area. Vault toilets are the only facility listed, and a fee is charged for stays. The nearby Boca, CA weather station, about 3 miles away, records typical averages that make summer the most comfortable season. July highs average around 86°F with lows near 39°F, and September cools to about 79°F with only a couple of wet days. Boca Rest Campground sits less than a mile away, and the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail is about 2 miles off. Boca Reservoir's water recreation and Stampede Reservoir's water recreation are both within about 3.5 miles.
