Campbell Cove
About
Campbell Cove is a public beach on the California coast, about 2 miles from the town of Bodega Bay. Restrooms are on site, and there is no fee to visit. Late summer into early fall is the warmest stretch here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show September highs around 66°F and only about four wet days a month from June through September. Winter is cooler and wetter, with highs in the mid-50s and roughly 11 wet days a month from December through February. For a walk after the beach, the Access Trail and Bluff Trail are both about 2.7 miles away, and the Ridge Trail is about 3 miles off. Paddlers can head to Estero Americano, roughly 8 miles from the cove.
