Ivory Tower is a climbing area in Arizona, set on county land within a proposed open space. It sits in a cluster of climbing spots, with Dromedary Peak and Gray Wall both about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here ranges from 5.7 to 5.11b, with most routes falling between 5.10a and 5.11b, and six of the seven routes are sport climbs. The one trad route is The Flying Chipmunk, a 5.7. Sport climbers can pick up Singing in the Rain, a 5.9, or Balancing Act at 5.11b. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Superior weather station, about 9 miles away, show March highs near 72°F and November highs near 72°F, while July and August average in the upper 90s. For a change from the rocks, the Legends of Superior Loop Trail is about 4.4 miles away and the Ajax Mine Trail about 4.6 miles. Wood Canyon, another climbing area, is roughly 8 miles off.
