Gate's Pass is a bouldering area in Tucson Mountain Park, Arizona, on county land. It sits among a cluster of trails and climbing spots, with the Golden Gate Trail and the Golden Gate Mountain Loop both within a few tenths of a mile. The area is a bouldering destination, with 39 routes listed, all of them boulders. The grades run from V0 to V10, with the median around V3-4. Farstrider is the hardest route at V10, and Cholla Magnet is a V4. The climbing is close to the trail network, so it pairs easily with a ride or a walk. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show March highs around 75°F and October highs around 86°F, while June and July average near 100°F. Nearby, the Tucson Mountains climbing area and The "Gimme Some" Dome are about 1.2 miles away. The Chaparral and Yetman Trail mountain biking routes are within half a mile.
