The Beach is a sport climbing area in the Globe Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Throne/Universe Wall about 0.4 miles away and Warm-up and Road Area each roughly 0.9 miles off. Oak Flat campground is 0.8 miles away, making it the closest place to camp. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Superior weather station show March highs around 72°F and November highs around 72°F, while July highs reach about 99°F. That station sits roughly 1,200 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures at The Beach run cooler. The area has five sport routes, with grades ranging from 5.10b to 5.13-. Curley is the easiest at 5.10b, and Spice is the hardest at 5.13-. The Throne/Universe Wall and Warm-up are both close by for more climbing.
