Sulfide Del Rey is a Forest Service campground in the Globe Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona. It sits at a higher elevation than the mining operations it once served, where miners lived to escape the heat of the lower ground where they worked during the day. The site is a simple base for camping, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. No fees are required to use it. The surrounding area offers more to explore. Kellner and Icehouse are both hikes within a couple of miles, and Pinal Campground and Six Shooter are other campgrounds close by.
