Los Burros is a Forest Service campground in the Lakeside Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site is set up for a simple overnight stay rather than a full-service experience. The only facility listed is vault toilets, and there is no fee to use the campground. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 69°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring highs near 80°F and the most wet days of the year. Several trails start close by. Los Burros Trail is about 0.2 miles away and Los Burros Shortcut about 0.4 miles. Four Springs Trail is roughly 1.3 miles off, and the Snow Mobile mountain biking route is about 4.3 miles away.
