Cholla Bay is a Forest Service campground in the Tonto Basin Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona. It sits within the Tonto National Forest, and the nearest town is Roosevelt, about 7 miles away. The most comfortable months for a visit are spring and fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Roosevelt show March highs around 74°F and October highs around 85°F, while July and August average in the low 100s. A fee is charged for recreation at this site. Two other campgrounds, Cholla Campground and Cholla C G, are each about a mile away. The Arizona Trail lies roughly 4 miles off, and Indian Point, a lake fishing spot, is about 7 miles away.
