Mist Opportunity Trail is a short, easy hike in Monte Sano State Park in Alabama, managed by State Park and Recreation. The route is about 0.77 miles long, with an elevation gain of 11 feet. It's an out-and-back trail, about 1.5 miles in length when you count the return, and the climb is so gentle it makes an easy add-on to a longer day in the park.
