About Mt. Humbard
Mt. Humbard is a former ski area located on Mackinac Island in Michigan. The area is no longer in operation, and little remains of its infrastructure. Visiting the site today offers a glimpse into the island's recreational history, though there are no active ski runs or lift systems to experience. Access to Mackinac Island itself requires ferry service, and the island's year-round presence as a tourism destination means some seasonal activity persists, though winter conditions can be severe.
