About Granby Ranch
Granby Ranch is a compact, family-friendly ski area nestled in the Colorado high country at 9,181 feet, offering 834 vertical feet of skiable terrain accessed by four chairlifts, one rope tow, and a magic carpet. The mountain features a balanced mix of terrain suitable for all ability levels, with 18 easy runs, 15 intermediate trails, and 10 advanced slopes totaling over 23 miles of downhill skiing and snowboarding. Beyond alpine skiing, Granby Ranch maintains 8 dedicated Nordic trails (4 easy, 4 intermediate) covering nearly 11 kilometers of groomed cross-country terrain, making it an excellent destination for Nordic skiers seeking gentle to moderate forest and meadow routes. The area's relatively modest vertical and accessible terrain park infrastructure make it ideal for families, beginners progressing to intermediate skills, and cross-country enthusiasts exploring the Winter Park area ecosystem.
