About Fernwood
Fernwood is a defunct ski area in Pennsylvania, located in the northeastern part of the state at an elevation of 539 feet. The area once operated as a small ski destination with 80 feet of vertical, but is no longer active as a functioning resort. The site remains abandoned, and there is little practical reason for visitors to seek it out as a skiing or riding destination today.
