Make sure that you wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, sneakers or comfortable boots are best. Dress for the season, light clothes in summer, layers in spring and fall, and warm coats in winter.

While our mailing address is on Oxon Hill Road, the parking lot entrance to the park is on Bald Eagle Road. Bald Eagle Road can be accessed from the Capital Beltway (I-495/I-95), as well as Indian Head Highway (MD-210) and Oxon Hill Road (MD-414).
