Tree Trunk Gorge Trail is an out-and-back trail, 2.8 miles each way (5.6 miles round trip) in Waikato, New Zealand, inside Tongariro National Park. It runs between about 2,190 ft and 2,740 ft above sea level, with roughly 80 ft of climbing one way. Most of the way is dirt. The nearest town is Tūrangi, about 12 miles south of the trailhead. Peaks within about 3 miles include Oturere. For camping, Urchin Campsite and Kaimanawa Road Campsite are within about 6 miles.
