The Needle

The Needle is a mountain in Tasman, New Zealand, with its summit at about 5,130 ft (1,563 m) above sea level. It stands inside Kahurangi National Park. Mapped trails that come within about half a mile of the top include Anatoki Pack Track and Dragon's Teeth High Traverse Route. The nearest town is Tākaka, about 15 miles southwest of the summit. Peaks within about 3 miles include Mount Douglas, Trident and Yuletide Peak. The location and elevation come from OpenStreetMap and the Copernicus 90 m elevation model.
