Rerekapa Track

Rerekapa Track is an out-and-back mountain bike trail in Taranaki, New Zealand. It is 4.0 miles each way, 8.1 miles there and back. It runs between about 710 ft and 1,240 ft above sea level, with roughly 1,600 ft of climbing one way. It is rated mtb:scale 3: technical riding over blocky ground, drops and tight turns, for skilled riders. Most of the way is dirt. The nearest town is Mōkau, about 16 miles south of the start. Peaks within about 3 miles include Makarakia, Huanui and Waitaraiti. Rerekapa Falls is within about 3 miles.
