Upper Oreti Hut is an unstaffed wilderness hut in Southland, New Zealand, at about 1,890 ft (575 m) above sea level. It is inside Eyre Mountains / Taka Ra Haka Conservation Park. It is run by Department of Conservation. The nearest town is Mossburn, about 20 miles north of the hut. Peaks within about 3 miles include Bald Hill.
