McIntosh Hut

McIntosh Hut is an unstaffed wilderness hut in Otago, New Zealand, at about 4,820 ft (1,470 m) above sea level. It is inside Whakaari Conservation Area. It is run by Department of Conservation. Trails within about a mile include Mount McIntosh Loop Track. The nearest town is Glenorchy, about 3.7 miles east of the hut.
