Carrington Hut Route is a 9.7-mile point-to-point route in Canterbury, New Zealand, inside Arthur's Pass National Park. It runs between about 2,060 ft and 2,690 ft above sea level, with roughly 1,090 ft of climbing one way. It is a mountain path with steeper and uneven sections, so wear proper hiking shoes. Most of the way is dirt. It is mapped as a named hiking route, with the sections joined into one trail here. The nearest town is Arthur's Pass, about 5.9 miles west of the trailhead. Peaks within about 3 miles include Mount Campbell, Mount Guinevere and Mount Stewart. Kilmarnock Falls and Gerard Falls are within about 3 miles.
