Zuñi Mountains

The Zuñi Mountains are a compact mountain range located in western New Mexico, near the Arizona border. This range is part of the Cibola National Forest and features rugged, volcanic terrain with dramatic cliffs, canyons, and rock formations. The landscape is dominated by ponderosa pine and mixed conifer forests, with piñon-juniper woodlands at lower elevations. Wildlife in the range includes elk, mule deer, black bear, and a variety of bird species.
