Vaca Mountains

The Vaca Mountains are a small, rugged mountain range located in central California. Situated between the cities of Vacaville and Winters, the range covers an area of approximately 100 square miles. The terrain is characterized by steep, rocky slopes, with elevations ranging from around 500 feet in the foothills to over 3,000 feet at the highest peaks. The vegetation is predominately chaparral and oak woodlands, providing a scenic backdrop for outdoor activities.
