Three Sisters

The Three Sisters is a prominent volcanic mountain range in central Oregon, part of the Cascade mountain range. The three main peaks - North Sister (10,085 ft), Middle Sister (10,047 ft), and South Sister (10,358 ft) - are the result of a complex geological history of volcanic eruptions and glacial activity. The landscape is characterized by rugged, glaciated peaks, alpine meadows, and numerous lakes and rivers. The area is known for its diverse ecosystems, from subalpine forests to high-altitude tundra.
