Talc City Hills

The Talc City Hills are a small mountain range located in the eastern part of California, known for their distinctive talc deposits and rugged terrain. Formed by tectonic uplift, the hills feature steep, rocky slopes and narrow, winding canyons. Elevations in the range generally range from around 3,500 to 6,000 feet, creating a diverse alpine environment with pine forests, scrublands, and exposed rock formations. The hills are part of the larger Mojave Desert ecosystem, resulting in a dry, arid climate and unique desert flora and fauna.
