Sperry Hills

The Sperry Hills are a small, rugged mountain range located in central California. Spanning an area of approximately 50 square miles, the range is characterized by steep, rocky slopes, deep canyons, and sparse vegetation. The terrain is predominantly made up of granite and metamorphic rock, with numerous exposed cliffs and talus fields. Elevations range from around 5,000 feet in the foothills to the highest peak, Mount Sperry, which rises to 8,342 feet. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters.
