Siskiyou Mountains

The Siskiyou Mountains are a rugged mountain range located in northern California, straddling the border with Oregon. This geologically diverse range is characterized by steep, forested slopes, deep river canyons, and a mix of volcanic and sedimentary rock formations. The terrain is generally remote and challenging, with limited road access to the interior. Elevations range from around 2,000 feet in the valleys to over 7,500 feet at the summits of the highest peaks.
