Simcoe Mountains

The Simcoe Mountains are a small, isolated mountain range located in southwestern Washington state. Situated between the Cascade Range and the Willapa Hills, the Simcoes rise abruptly from the surrounding lowlands, with rugged, heavily forested slopes and several prominent peaks. The terrain is steep and challenging, with a mix of old-growth forests, alpine meadows, and rocky ridges. Wildlife is abundant, including Roosevelt elk, black bears, and a variety of bird species.
