About Shoshone Range

The Shoshone Range is a rugged mountain range located in central Nevada. It stretches for approximately 50 miles from north to south, with elevations ranging from around 6,000 feet in the valleys to over 11,000 feet at the highest peaks. The terrain is characterized by steep, jagged ridges, alpine lakes, and deep canyons carved by glaciers during the last ice age.
