Scott Mountains

The Scott Mountains are a rugged, remote mountain range located in northern California, primarily within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This geographically isolated range features steep, heavily forested slopes with numerous granite peaks and ridges. The terrain is generally challenging, with dense vegetation, steep trails, and areas of loose rock. However, the range offers a true wilderness experience far from major population centers.
