About San Andres Mountains

The San Andres Mountains are a rugged mountain range located in south-central New Mexico. Formed by uplifting of the Earth's crust, the range features steep, rocky slopes and deep canyons carved by intermittent streams. Elevations range from around 4,500 feet in the valleys to over 9,000 feet at the highest peaks.
