Robledo Mountains

The Robledo Mountains are a small mountain range located in southern New Mexico, near the city of Las Cruces. The range rises abruptly from the surrounding desert landscape, with rugged, rocky terrain dominated by steep canyons and ridges. Elevations range from around 4,500 feet in the foothills to over 7,000 feet at the highest points. The landscape is characterized by pinyon-juniper woodlands, desert scrub, and areas of exposed bedrock and boulders. The Robledos offer scenic vistas of the surrounding Chihuahuan Desert region.
