Pyramid Hills

The Pyramid Hills are a modest mountain range located in central California, known for their distinctive pyramidal peaks and arid, rocky terrain. Spanning an area of approximately 100 square miles, the range rises abruptly from the surrounding desert landscape, with elevations ranging from 4,000 to 8,000 feet. The rugged, heavily eroded slopes and canyons of the Pyramid Hills are characterized by a mix of chaparral, pinyon-juniper woodlands, and scattered pockets of pine and fir forests, creating a varied and visually striking landscape.
