Peralta Hills

The Peralta Hills are a small but rugged mountain range located in southern California, within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. This coastal range features steep, chaparral-covered slopes and narrow canyons carved by seasonal creeks. The terrain is predominantly composed of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks, with some exposed granite formations. Elevations range from around 1,000 feet in the foothills to just over 2,400 feet at the highest peaks.
