Panamint Range

The Panamint Range is a rugged mountain range located in eastern California, within the Death Valley National Park. This remote and isolated range rises abruptly from the surrounding desert, with steep, rocky slopes and deep canyons. The geology of the Panamints is diverse, featuring ancient sedimentary and volcanic rock formations, carved by erosion over millennia.
