Osgood Mountains

The Osgood Mountains are a small, rugged mountain range located in northwestern Nevada. The range is characterized by steep, rocky terrain with numerous craggy peaks and ridges. The mountains rise abruptly from the surrounding high desert landscape, providing dramatic views and a scenic backdrop. The rocky slopes are predominantly covered in pinyon-juniper and mountain mahogany forests, with alpine vegetation at the highest elevations. The range is part of the Basin and Range province, featuring fault-block mountain geology typical of the region.
