Bear Mountains

The Bear Mountains are a small, rugged mountain range located in central New Mexico. The range covers an area of approximately 100 square miles and features steep, rocky terrain with numerous canyons and ridgelines. Elevations range from around 6,500 feet in the foothills to over 10,000 feet at the highest peaks. The landscape is dominated by pinyon-juniper woodlands and ponderosa pine forests, providing a diverse array of flora and fauna.
