Hesteyri - Stakkadalur

Hesteyri - Stakkadalur is an out-and-back trail, 1.3 miles each way (2.6 miles round trip) in Westfjords, Iceland, inside Hornstrandir. It stays at about 10 ft above sea level and is close to flat. It is a well-made walking path, fine for most hikers. Most of the way is dirt. The nearest town is Bolungarvík, about 17 miles north of the trailhead.
