Trout Creek Outfitters operates guided fly fishing trips on the Truckee River, Yuba River, and Truckee-area stillwater lakes. The shop offers walk-and-wade trips (half or full day) led by local professional guides sharing insider tips, full-day drift boat float trips with lunch and beverages included, and half or full-day stillwater trips on lakes and ponds suited for anglers of all skill levels. Based in downtown Truckee steps from the Truckee River, the operation also maintains a full-service fly shop stocked with gear, flies, rods, reels, boots, and waders. The Truckee River flows over 120 miles from Lake Tahoe through town and into Nevada, supporting larger rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroats, and native whitefish year-round.
