Sugar Valley

Sugar Valley operates canoe, kayak, and tube trips on Sugar Creek through Marshall, Indiana, offering five trip lengths from 3 to 15 miles. The 3-mile Turkey Run trip features tubing under two covered bridges and one suspension bridge, with hourly departures from 9am–2pm and pickups every 30 minutes. Longer canoe and kayak trips range from 6 to 15 miles, passing through Turkey Run and Shades State Parks and under multiple covered bridges including the historic Jackson Covered Bridge. Trips run seasonally April through October, weather permitting. The business also operates primitive camping cabins at two locations—13 cabins at the main Up the Creek site and 6 creekside cabins at Cox Ford—equipped with beds, electricity, A/C, mini fridge, and microwave.
