RMI Expeditions

RMI Expeditions, founded by legendary mountaineer Lou Whittaker, operates guided climbing expeditions across North America and internationally. The company leads climbs on Mount Rainier, Mount McKinley (Denali), and peaks throughout the North Cascades including Mount Baker, Mount Shuksan, and Glacier Peak. Internationally, RMI guides expeditions to the Seven Summits, including Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Vinson Massif, Orizaba, Illimani, and Mount Everest, along with trekking programs in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and the Himalaya. The company offers mountaineering skills courses, crevasse rescue training, ski mountaineering programs, and women's expeditions. With over 55 years of experience, RMI has guided more than 80,000 climbers on Mount Rainier and completed over 300 Mount McKinley expeditions.
