About Pacheedaht Campground

Pacheedaht Campground sits on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island in Port Renfrew, operated by the Pacheedaht First Nation—the "People of the Seafoam." The campground offers ocean, river, and forest sites beneath towering trees with views of the Pacific. Visitors can paddle, hike the West Coast Trail, fish, and access locally harvested smoked salmon at Seafoam Seafoods. Regular sites accommodate up to 8 people and 2 vehicles; four new premium oceanfront serviced group sites (21G, 34G, 36G, 38G) hold up to 30 people and 5 sleeping units each. Check-in is 2:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM. Sites can be booked up to 3 months in advance. The campground enforces a 10 km/h speed limit, 11:00 PM quiet time, and requires pets on leash. Fires must use designated pits and be fully extinguished; organic waste returns to water below low tide. ATVs, dirtbikes, firearms, and bear spray are prohibited.
