North Texas Catfish Guide Service operates rod-and-reel catfish trips on Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Worth, Lake Lewisville, Lake Ray Roberts, Lake Grapevine, and the Brazos River in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The fully licensed, full-time guide service has operated for 29 years and targets blue catfish, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and trophy catfish year-round. Clients fish from a 2026 SeaArk Pro Guide boat equipped with Humminbird 1198 electronics; the service provides all tackle, rods, reels, bait, and fish cleaning. Spring (March–May) produces high numbers of blue catfish averaging two to ten pounds; October through March is peak season for trophy blues in the 20–50 lb range, with fish over 40 pounds caught frequently. The service also offers teaching trips focused on catfishing skills including fish-finder use, seasonal patterns, bait selection, boat control, and drift and anchored techniques.
