Lamoille River Paddlers Trail is a community-managed network of paddling routes along Vermont's Lamoille River, from the headwaters near Hardwick west to Lake Champlain. Day trips range from the 4-mile Class II–III whitewater section above Hardwick to the 13-mile beginner-friendly Jeffersonville-to-Fairfax Falls run through farmland and floodplain forests. The trail maintains three formal campsites spaced 10–15 miles apart, enabling overnight trips such as the Upper River route (Cadyville Falls to Jeffersonville, 5–14 miles per day with portages around waterfalls) and the Lower River trip (Cambridge to Arrowhead Lake, featuring shuttle service). Paddlers encounter quiet scenic sections suitable for trout fishing, rock gardens, and Class II rapids, with access points near Routes 15 and 16.
