Kittatinny Canoes has operated on the Delaware River for 80 years, offering raft, canoe, kayak, and tube trips across multiple sections of the Upper and Middle Delaware. From the 7-mile Barryville to Pond Eddy run featuring Class 1 & 2 rapids including Cedar and Shohola, to the calm 6-mile Matamoras to River Beach paddle, trips accommodate all experience levels. The 10-mile Pond Eddy to Matamoras journey showcases the dramatic Hawks Nest gorge and multiple rapid sets. A 3-mile novice tube float passes the Zane Grey mansion and historic Roebling Aqueduct. Wildlife viewing includes bald eagles, osprey, herons, deer, and occasional black bears. Kittatinny operates two campgrounds—K-Camp in Barryville, NY and River Beach in Milford, PA—each with on-site river trips, camp stores, and bath houses, located 2–3 hours from New York City.
