Jackson WellSprings
About Jackson WellSprings
Jackson WellSprings is a 30-acre wellness retreat center in Ashland, Oregon, 2.5 miles from downtown, built on land historically revered by First Nation tribes as a ceremonial and birthing site. The facility features naturally alkaline mineral water sourced from warm artesian springs on Bear Creek—80,000 gallons daily feed an Olympic-sized swimming pool, soaking pools, private tubs, steam room, and sauna. Beyond the spa, the property includes a campground with tent, RV, tipi, and glamping accommodations; organic gardens; and an events center. Jackson WellSprings also hosts the Health Research Institute, a nonprofit supporting educational, botanical, and environmental restoration projects. The springs were dedicated to "natatorium and sanitarium purposes" in 1862 by Eugenia Jackson and became a renowned destination at the turn of the twentieth century.
